Sales Team

Chris

Regional Director of Sales

About my experience:

I began my hospitality journey in 2010 where I started as a banquet employee at the Holiday Inn Latham, NY.  This started my love for the hospitality industry, and I immediately knew I wanted to advance.  Through the years I climbed the ranks from banquet set up, to front desk, to my first Front office Manager position at the Holiday Inn Port St Lucie FL.  Seeking out more hospitality experience in a larger market, I relocated to Orlando where I served as Front Office Manager for the Holiday Inn Express Orlando Airport, and Assistant General Manager at the Staybridge Suites Orlando Airport.  I was then relocated to Largo, MD where I accepted my first General Manager position at the Holiday Inn Express.  This is where I was first truly introduced to the sales side of hotels with immediate oversight.  I knew then that I eventually wanted to transition to sales, but continued to gain experience working at IHG, Marriott, and Hilton hotels as a General Manager.  I am truly excited to begin my journey with Dellisart in the Director of Sales Position.

How I would describe my management style:

I enjoy working with a team to identify the needs and desires of each individual hotel to achieve its particular goals, and then using those key drivers to prospect and qualify groups and local contracts to fit the needs of each hotel.  I feel as though true success occurs when a hotel’s needs and a client’s needs are cohesive and beneficial for all parties involved.

Why do business with me? With many years of experience in operations with oversight of sales, I have developed solutions for several hotels in vastly differing markets. I am extremely enthusiastic in finding solutions for all of my prospective hotel guests no matter what the need is.

Graham

Regional Director of Sales

About My Experience:

I grew up surrounded by the hospitality business and went to one of the top Hospitality programs in the country. I graduated from Collins College of Hospitality Management with a bachelor’s degree at the California Polytechnic University of Pomona in 2019. While attending college I worked in hotel operations and for a large independent resort in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. I moved to Florida and took a luxury sales position for a company called Ultimate Jet Vacations working with the top 5-star resorts around the world. I was provided the opportunity to get back into hotel sales and am excited to work as a Director of Sales for Hotel Sales Max by Dellisart.

How I would describe my management style:

I enjoy working with an energetic team that we can all lean on for support. I know I like to ask a lot of questions and hope others feel I am always there to assist if they have any as well. I believe in team building and allowing others to have the freedom to excel in their work without micromanaging them.

Why do business with me?

I like to know as much as I can about a subject so when it comes to properties and markets, I put in the work to understand and grow my knowledge. I went to an amazing hospitality program and have experience in operations and sales. I want to make sure the sales and operations teams are cohesive and can rely on each other for any situation.

My Experience

Liana has worked in the hospitality industry since 2006, starting off her career as a banquet captain at the Pier House Resort & Spa in Key West, FL after moving from her home state of New Hampshire shortly after graduating from college.  Soon after, I began moving around the property to different departments to gain further knowledge of the overall hotel operations, as a Spa Receptionist, Bartender, and quickly moved up the ranks to the Sales Assistant position where my love for sales began.  About 3 years later, I took a position at The Key West Marriott Beachside Hotel as the Sales Assistant, quickly getting promoted to the Catering Sales Manager role, then Senior Sales Manager selling rooms along with the catering and planning weddings and events.  To gain further knowledge of the industry from a different perspective, I then took a position as Destination Sales Manager at the Florida Keys and Key West Tourism Development Council, which then lead me to my role as Director of Sales at a new luxury resort in Key West, where I have increased the Group, Consortia, Wholesale, and FIT segments to record highs in the hotel’s history.

My Management Style

Liana is a collaborative, critical thinker that loves to solve problems and have a fully rounded understanding of every aspect of the industry, the hotels she serves and all the players involved.  Because of this, Liana’s style of managing is truly by diving in deep, learning and understanding all aspects of the duties in order to be a true team player.  There isn’t a job that Liana won’t do herself before delegating to a team and she takes pride in her ability to communicate with sound knowledge and confidence to be a full support system for her team.  Constant clear and concise communication is key, operating with the utmost integrity and understanding the whole picture before making assumptions is a true testament to her ability to lead by example and maintain the highest level of professionalism and always remembering that we are all successful when we work together as a team.  Liana always makes sure to appreciate her team when they achieve success, and will always use failures as a teaching opportunity to empower team members and show them support to grow.

Why Do Business With Me?

I am the hardest worker, operating with the utmost professionalism and integrity and strive for being the best of the best in every way possible.  I take pride in my ability to listen and understand my client’s needs and use my ability to think creatively, applying my experience and expertise to achieve goals and exceed expectations.  I love building relationships, connecting with my clients to develop a true bond on a foundation of trust, transparency, integrity and always with a little fun.

About Me:

I was born and raised in a small town in New Hampshire, conveniently located between the Mt Washington Valley/White Mountain region and the Lakes Region.  I spent my winters playing indoor sports, snow skiing, and snowmobiling and my summers enjoying time outside, canoeing down the Saco River, or waterskiing on the lakes when not relaxing at the sandbar or the beach.  I moved to Key West in the Fall of 2006 after graduating college and have loved living the island life!  I am a mother to the most fun, funny and spunky 3 year old named Linely that is going to change the world with her tenacity and love for all things fun, and I am also mother to my beautiful golden retriever, Greta, who at almost 11 years old still has the energy of a puppy and I love it!

Food:  Ceviche!  It’s bright, vibrant and full of intense citrusy flavor and will be on the menu for my final meal!

Hobby: I love being on the water on my standup paddleboard but I am really excited to try outrigger canoe paddling.  I also LOVE to Dance!  I received my minor in Dance and love all styles but my favorites are Contemporary, Jazz and Hip Hop!  I hope to try getting reconnected with Tap as well.  I teach Yoga on occasion but I will be a forever student!

Musical Artist: I love almost anything, but if I had to choose, Alanis Morissette is my all time favorite.  She’s incredible!

Movie: Empire Records is my all time favorite but I cannot help myself to watch (or rewatch) any of the Harry Potter movies (the books were better though!)

Place: the island of Kauai in Hawaii.  It’s my home away from home! Or Napa Valley, CA.
