Rashaun Barner


I have been in the hospitality industry since 2004. I have been afforded the opportunity to learn every facet of operations within the industry.  I started as a front desk associate and transitioned to a night auditor. As years progressed, I advanced to management roles such as Operations Manager, Assistant General Manager, Director of Rooms, General Manager, Regional Director, and District Manager. In my 19 years within the industry, I have worked with Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, IHG, and Extended Stay brands. My strongest skill sets are generating and building relationships, budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, and coaching. My passion is fostering teamwork and creating an environment for professional and personal development for my team. I strive to deliver profitable results to hotel owners while creating an inclusive work culture and memorable guest experience.

My goal as I embark on this new position with Dellisart is to find innovative solutions to adapt to an ever-changing hospitality industry along with leading and navigating challenges from an operational and financial perspective. My colleagues would describe me as a motivated, open minded, creative, decisive, analytical, and an operational expert who can be relied on to enhance overall productivity and efficiency to drive performance.

My family has Northern roots, but I was raised in North Carolina. I enjoy spending time with my wife of 17 years, two boys, ages 9 and 12, and our 3 fur babies pit bull (Blu Belle), rottie (Vega) and cane corso (Keno). When I have a weekend available, I enjoy taking my family to the cabin in the mountains for a little R&R.

Food: Mostly anything off the grill, shrimp, pasta and fish

Hobby: Playing various instruments, reading a good book, and working out

Favorite Music: Jazz, Country, and anything you consider an Oldie.

Favorite Musical Artist: Mint Condition

Favorite Place: Outside of the country (Brazil)/ inside the US (Mountains)
